We are excited to offer a comprehensive Peer Supervision Training curriculum! This course provides individuals in supervisory roles with the opportunity to explore methodologies to best utilize peer supervision competencies and standards for the peers they manage. The “Fundamentals of Supervising the Peer Recovery Professional” training that RecoveryTech & TRB Connections provide satisfies the New York Certification Board’s (NYCB) 20-hour foundational education training requirements for their newest certification, the Peer Supervision Professional (PSP). Anyone interested in peer services, including supervisors of peer workers, can now participate in training on the PSP role.

FROM THE NYCB: Peer Supervision Professional (PSP) – PSP is not a peer certification. It is for professionals from any practice background who supervise peers. Click here for role competencies and here for the PSP Ethical Framework. Please also see training details at https://www.asapnys.org/asap-pwi/. The application form is now available.

RecoveryTech and TRB Connections are pleased to offer this 20-hour (3-day) Peer Supervision training to Behavioral Health clinicians and Peer Recovery support supervisors/staff.
