Recovery Coach Academy, Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches, and Medicated Supported Recovery Training
– Join us for a complete 50-hour foundational peer training required by the New York Certification Board, delivered live on Zoom by Kyle LaFever, CCAR RCP-F and NYCB Trainer Registry Member. This comprehensive training package includes:
CCAR’s Recovery Coach Academy (RCA) – a nationally recognized curriculum that equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively support individuals on their recovery journey.
Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches – an in-depth exploration of boundaries, values, and ethical decision-making to ensure safe and professional peer support.
Medication Supported Recovery (MSR) – a training designed to build understanding and reduce stigma around the use of medications in recovery, providing a balanced and informed perspective.
Upon completion, participants will have met the 50-hour peer foundational training requirement for NYCB certification, while gaining practical tools to engage, empower, and ethically support those in recovery.
