This is a VIRTUAL Saturday morning class that begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 12:45 pm with a 15 min. break.

This training meets the initial CRPA/CARC requirements and the renewal requirements for Medication Assisted Treatment/Recovery. This is a VIRTUAL, interactive training that will include the basics of MAT as a multiple pathway to recovery. The training is designed to look at bias, stigma and barriers to seeking MAT. This training is designed in the Spirit of Motivational Interviewing, recognizing the individual is the expert in their own lives. It is our job to come along side with radical acceptance and support their journey. There will be time to have deep discussions with your peers and practice discussion MAT with others. This training will add value to you as a professional peer. Pre-liminary research is showing that those entering MAT with a peer have better outcomes.
