Training will be delivered virtually via zoom on both Thursday April 6th and Friday April 7th, 2023, 8:30 am-1:00 pm both days.
Additional Information:

This training is designed to address traumatic Opioid/Substance Use overdose loss and its impact on the behavioral health workforce (Addiction Treatment Professionals, Mental Health professionals and Peer Recovery Professionals).

The training will :

explore the scope of the Opioid/SUD overdose epidemic
provide overdose prevention/risk management and postvention strategies
provide an overview of grief and traumatic loss impact, types of grief/losses including disenfranchised grief and factors that impact grief reactions.
explore the impact of these losses on clinicians and peer professionals and provide an understanding of compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout.
