What is SURD?

SURD is FOR-NY’s day of advocacy. A special day when recovery advocates, warriors and allies from all around the state gather to celebrate the power and promise of recovery from addiction, while educating decision-makers and the general public about the Recovery Movement.

SURD 2023 begins at 8:30 am and ends at approx. 12:30 where advocacy groups will disperse to meet with their legislative representatives. The SURD 2023 Program includes:
