FOR-NY is invested in creating a well-trained and supported peer workforce.
In partnership with the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), FOR-NY is pleased to be awarding scholarships for training to become a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and for CRPA Renewal training!
Please note: CRPA services are Medicaid-billable by your employer. Individual (coaching) providers do not bill Medicaid.
These awards will go to individuals who take their training with a Best Practice Trainer.
A limited number of candidates will be approved per region.
Eligibility will be determined by region of the state, financial need, appropriateness/readiness for training and extent of lived experience.
These groups, veterans, bi-lingual, LGBTQIA, those with lived MAT experience, are strongly encouraged to apply
(NOTE: Current residential treatment clients are not eligible.)
Trainer/RCO/RCOC partnerships will provide training and support utilizing the following best practice model.
By applying you agree to follow through on the minimum requirements
outlined in the expectations document below.
