Friends of Recovery New York (FOR-NY) is pleased to partner with qualified trainers to offer trainings geared towards obtaining the basic knowledge and credits toward peer professional certification.
Effective March 27, 2020, per the educational mandate given by Governor Cuomo due to COVID-19, all in-person trainings listed below through May 15th will be on-hold, rescheduled, or delivered virtually. Future-dated trainings after May 15, 2020, may be adjusted due to CDC and Governors’ recommendations.

Note: Each trainer is responsible for applying to the certifying bodies, the New York Certifications Board (NYCB) to offer peer certification (CARC, CRPA) credits or the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) to offer OASAS credentialing (CASAC, CPP, CPS) credits for their training.
