Are you a Recovery or Life Coach? Are you interested in deepening your ability to connect with others?

Horses are naturally embodied, grounded and sensitive. As prey animals, the horse reacts immediately to stimuli that is or even might be predatorial. They will run first and “ask questions later”. This gives you immediate feedback on your body language, behavior and the energy that you are putting forth. The skills that you develop are easily transferable to human relationships. The added bonus is that when the trust is established, the horse helps you reset your central nervous system to a very calm state. The equine experience is well researched and utilized by veterans and trauma survivors. This experience is empowering, enlightening and a great confidence builder. This is an experiential, “felt” experience that will stay with you.

This dynamic workshop will utilize the power of the horse as a teacher, to help you improve your ability to engage others, work on a team, and improve your ability to identify your personal communication style.

You will learn:

The 4 components of Emotional Intelligence and watch how they play out through the non-verbal communication with the horse. The horse is a prey animal and will react to stimuli, giving you immediate feedback.

The components involved in building trust, reading body language, and communicating non-verbally.

You will learn how to re-set your central nervous system and come to understand how that impacts building a connection with others.

This is an embodied workshop which simply means the learning is a”felt” experience that will stay with you.

Emotional Intelligence is all about building trusting relationships.

See how EI relates to Conversational Intelligence and improves your communication skills.

Enhance your ability to read non-verbal cues and recognize how others read your non-verbals.

Spend the day at the barn, learning, interacting with the horses and investing in your career.

COVID protocol will be observed. This is a non-riding event. Space is limited to 10 participants due to COVID protocol.
