This course will delineate the stages of recovery in terms of early, middle, and sustain recovery or the later stages of the recovery process, Understanding that the process begins upon the individuals choice to seek recovery. The content will explore the stages in relationship to the dimensions that support recovery such as an increase in health looking at ways to improve, Health, overcoming or managing one’s disease (s) or symptoms and making informed, healthy choices that support physical and emotional well-being. Housing, in terms of having a stable and safe place to live thats is conducive to the recovery process, Identifying a sense of purpose conducting meaningful daily activities and having the independence, income, and resources to participate in productively in society and community- having relationships and social networks that provides support, friendship, love, and hope. Participants will look at the different pathways and platforms towards recovery. With an emphasis on self determination.
