2018 New York State Recovery Conference
The Journey to Recovery Wellness:
Home, Health, Community and Purpose
The 2018 New York State Recovery Conference – The Journey to Recovery Wellness – was held on Monday, August 20th & Tuesday, August 21st at the newly remodeled Albany Marriott. Pre-conference activities, which included a dance, were held on Sunday, August 19th. Together with our partners at ASAP and the NYCB we provided a very exciting program!
The two and a half day event included influential and inspiring speakers, twenty-four professional 75 minute workshops, music, art, expanded networking opportunities, exhibits, wellness product raffles and more.
A big THANK YOU to OASAS who generously made funding available for scholarships to be awarded so that over 40 Peers and 35 Youth/Young Adults could attend the conference cost-free!
