This course is design to to assist Peers / Coaches in developing ” people skills” understanding the individuality and uniqueness of people despite the similarities. This course will examine attitudes and behaviors about presence, confidence, the work place, engaging people , understanding different management styles. This course will
Compare and contrast different levels of presence and determine the appropriate level of presence for yourself as well as how to improve your presence if needed within the context of relationships with peers, superiors and coworkers. It will evaluate open mindness and the ability to create a plan to assemble the dimensions of good interpersonal communication and apply these skills to challenging conversations and interactions.
To develop healthy relationship with co-workers, your superiors and peers, utilizing emotional intelligence which leads to empathy, trust, and connection to other inividuals. To learn how to recognize, nonverbal cues, as well as verbal ones, that are misleading, and how to overcome conflict and build productive therapuetic relationships—in and out of the office.
