Ethical Considerations Training
16-Hour Two-and-a-Half Day Training
This 16-hour Ethical Considerations Training will be conducted over two and a half days.
Training Schedule

Day One: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Day Two: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Day Three: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Breaks will be scheduled throughout each day, including a designated lunch break on full training days
Additional Information:

This training supports recovery coaches and peer support professionals in applying ethical practices consistent with the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy model and a Recovery‑Oriented System of Care.
Participants will explore key ethical principles, including boundaries, confidentiality, self‑disclosure, cultural humility, role clarity, and respect for multiple pathways to recovery. The training uses recovery‑focused discussion and real‑world scenarios to strengthen ethical decision‑making that promotes trust, dignity, empowerment, and professionalism in peer‑based recovery support.
