Medication Supporter Recovery (MSR, formerly MAT) is an important component of addiction treatment modalities and recovery pathways. This 1/2-day workshop offers recovery coaches and peer recovery professionals the opportunity to understand and explore the realities, myths, and stigmas in support of addiction treatment and sustained recovery. In addition to commonly known and prescribed therapies, we will also explore the growing field of harm reduction and alternative therapies. Importantly, this workshop enables recovery support professionals to examine their own biases and perspectives regarding this often-stigmatized recovery pathway.
