Harm Reduction: Principles, Practices & Peer Application is a six-hour interactive training designed to explore harm reduction as both a social justice movement and a practical framework that promotes dignity, safety, and empowerment for people who use drugs. Through lectures, group discussion, and role-play, peers learn to integrate harm reduction into recovery support by understanding substance use, overdose prevention, and motivational engagement. The course strengthens participants’ capacity to navigate systems of care, uphold ethical boundaries, and model wellness and self-care.
