Reaching Youth Recovery Clubhouses in Celebration of Charity’s 20 Year Anniversary
Summer 2018 (July – September) Road Recovery founder and lifelong cyclist Gene Bowen will embark on a 1000+ mile cycling odyssey throughout New York State in recognition of the charity’s 20th Anniversary by taking their Don’t Give Up Campaign on the road. Bowen will visit selected Youth Recovery Clubhouses (YRC’s) within each region of New York State to celebrate the youth recovery movement initiated by Youth Voices Matter-NY.
Rock-N-Ride 2018 will amplify the voices of the amazing young people involved with Youth Voices Matter-NY through social media platforms, while directing attention to the Youth Recovery Clubhouses (YRC’s) supported by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS- OASAS).
